PLACED brings people together to make better places. We are guided by our vision to build a future where inclusive, resilient and thriving places are co-created with communities.
PLACED listen to the less heard voices, alongside the regular contributors. We gather the thoughts of those we engage, and advocate for community views to influence design, development and planning. We deliver meaningful engagement from the project outset,
translating issues and challenges into something all can understand. By engaging with and advocating for less-heard voices alongside regular contributors and technical experts, we empower people to feel able to share their views in a meaningful way.
Ours is a trusted service, working with a wide range of voices to engage and explore the idea of place. Our two key strands of work involve engagement and education. We help remove barriers from projects that make our towns and cities better places to live,
work, and spend time. As a social business we also reinvest the surplus we make into our communities.
Our team combines educators, regeneration practitioners and built environment professionals, bringing a rich and varied set of skills. We work with private, public and third
sector to help build support, facilitate engagement and deliver projects, both in person and online. We help clients to deliver sustainable, forward-thinking projects, that tie into a national agenda around the built environment.
As a community interest company, we reinvest our surplus into projects and programmes such as PLACED Academy to help make a positive lasting change.
