“WEDGE Collective are delighted to be sponsoring PLACED Academy and to help young people develop skills and experiences outside of traditional learning environments.

At the heart of WEDGE Collective is a commitment to supporting young people through mentorship, training programmes and internships so we are very excited to come on board as sponsors of PLACED Environmental Academy. Showcasing a diverse range of opportunities, roles, and paths for young people is absolutely essential and we are proud to support this process.”

WEDGE Collective is a creative agency and business school that equips organisations, entrepreneurs and freelancers with the knowledge and skills required to achieve their business goals.

Based in Liverpool and established in 2017, WEDGE Collective provides design, marketing and web services to businesses of all scales, nationally and internationally, whilst also providing training courses, consultancy and educational programmes to adults and young people interested in developing their digital and entrepreneurial skills.

WEDGE Collective’s approach stems from a strong belief that you do not need to follow the ‘traditional route’ to success. We are committed to educating and inspiring individuals to explore their own paths, which is echoed throughout our work with young people.

Prince Architects

“Having been a PlacED Ambassador for a number of years, I have seen first hand the amazing work the organisation does empowering young people to become involved in shaping the places around them. The built environment belongs to us all, yet careers in professions such as architecture can often seem out of reach for many. Initiatives such as the Digital Academy are invaluable in breaking down social and demographic barriers to entering the sector, creating an inclusive environment for students to develop, ultimately leading to a more diverse industry that benefits everyone. It is therefore a pleasure to be able to support the Academy and help to keep this good work going.”

Prince Architects is a small practice based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, working on a diverse range of projects from private houses, to listed buildings and commercial properties. We take a collaborative approach to design, working closely with clients to understand and explore their aspirations and project potential. This process is underpinned by thoughtful, environmentally responsible architecture, that adds value for both client and place. Beyond the traditional practice work, we recognise the importance of inspiring the next generation of built environment professionals, demonstrated by our involvement with PlacEd, the University of Liverpool School of Architecture and the RIBA Student Mentoring Scheme.
