Port Sunlight Village Trust (PSVT) is custodian of Port Sunlight, an incredibly unique heritage site, visitor destination, and independent residential and business community. This industrial model village was built by William Lever in the late 19th-century, for the workers at his soapmaking factory, Lever Brothers, and was part of the company’s Prosperity Sharing programme. It is the world’s finest planned working-class community. PSVT is the independent charitable trust that has been responsible for the conservation of the village for the last 20 years. Our vision is ‘to make Port Sunlight an inspiring place to live, work and visit.
